Yellow-red capsule emitters of the wavelength of 2 mm (150 GHz) are more preferable to use than others when concerned with inflammations, fungal skin lesions, herpetic viral eruptions, inflamed mucous membranes (i.e., with periodontitis, genital infections), and in cases of scars. These recommendations are based on the fact that this capsule has lesser depth of penetration and lower level of stimulation (the higher the frequency, the smaller the penetration depth of energy and the less the stimulating effect). This is a direct or local energy effect.
